The technology giant unveiled its next generation accessories at the Made By Google event organized today. In this context, Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 and Pixel Watch 3 will hit the shelves with both design and performance upgrades.
What do Google Pixel Watch 3 and Buds Pro 2 offer?
Let’s start with the Google Pixel Buds Pro 2. Powered by the Google Tensor A1 chip, the headphones promise twice as much ambient noise cancellation compared to the previous model. Buds Pro 2 will have adaptive sound support; It analyzes the environment 3 million times per second for active noise cancellation.
Google also said the headset was designed using data from 45 million ear scans. In addition to ANC and wireless charging, it promises a new call quality experience with a revamped microphone. Users will also be able to take advantage of new features through Google’s Find My Device network.
On the smartwatch side, Google Pixel Watch 3 was introduced. It comes in two sizes, 41mm and 45mm. Both have thinner bezels and brighter displays up to 2000 nits. It will be powered by the same Snapdragon W5+ chipset as the previous generation, but with added UWB support.
This means it will unlock UWB-enabled phones and cars faster. Health tracking will continue to keep track of your daily data with new metrics such as readiness score.
Other improvements include faster charging, Bluetooth LE Audio compatibility and stronger Google Maps integration. There will also be different options like an aluminum case and a woven strap.
Pixel Buds Pro 2 is available for pre-order in four colors and priced at $229. The Google Pixel Watch 3 starts at $349 and $399 for the 41/45 mm variants, respectively.
